Advent

The Advent season takes place during the four weeks prior to Christmas. The word “advent” simply means the arrival of a person, thing, or event. The celebration of Advent prepares our hearts to celebrate the arrival of Jesus Christ to humanity as a baby. If Advent is the preparation for the arrival of Jesus, we need to know who Jesus is.
